Robert Gray (1952 - 2020)

Dear Sue, family, friends and colleagues, On behalf of the whole EMAN community we would like to offer our sincere condolences. That Rob has left us is a huge shock and fills us with great sadness. Rob is a pioneer for social and environmental accounting and reporting research; he inspired generations of scholars and built a ‘family’ of researchers engaging for ‘the good cause’. Rob was a great scholar and friend and has left us suddenly and much too early in the middle of engaged projects and inspiring debates about the future of accounting for sustainability. It is a tremendous loss for the whole sustainability accounting research community. We all miss Rob and wish Sue, Mike, Chris and the family all the best in this difficult time.
